Porcelain Painter · Leipzig, Germany · 1970

Gulnara Heinz is a trained porcelain painter and works with acrylics, oils, and – with particular passion – with pencils and colored pencils. Her works are characterized by fine, detailed brushwork. The focus of her creations is on people, animals, flowers, and nature. Inspired by the beauty of nature, she has already realized several solo exhibitions.

Artist Statement

Even during my training as a porcelain painter, I learned how much expression can lie in the small things, in a delicate line, in the light on a leaf, in an animal's gaze. This eye for detail has stayed with me to this day and is reflected in every one of my paintings.

My subjects are people, animals, flowers, and nature. Not because they are loud or spectacular, but because they carry something authentic within them. Often, it's quiet moments or subtle moods that move me and that I want to capture.

I work with acrylic, oil, pencil, and colored pencil. Each material has its own character for me and opens up different possibilities to bring a motif to life. It is important to me that a painting creates closeness—to the moment, to the subject, and to the people who view it.

Today, my works are in private collections in Germany, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and South Korea. I am very happy about this, because each painting tells a piece of my own perception and connection with the world.
