I almost exclusively paint animals. Then came this moment.
A mountain, meadows, light that washes over everything – and suddenly I understood why landscape painters can never stop. Nature doesn't need a protagonist. It is one itself.
This picture is my only one of this kind – and perhaps therefore the most personal.
