
The gaze is directed forward, concentrated, without any haste. Watercolor suits pumas well, in my opinion; the paint flows, bleeds, and is never fully controllable, similar to the movement of these animals themselves. Calm, yet with clear power beneath.
Photos can only partially reproduce the transparency, depth, and fine color nuances of a watercolor. In person, the original appears even more intense due to its translucence and detailed structure.
