This work was created in a moment of reflection on endurance – not the kind of force that drives you forward, but the quiet decision to hold your ground while everything around you is in motion.
The bull stands frontal, grounded, present. Around him: colours that flow, blend, find no rest. He does not move from his place – and that is precisely what makes him unstoppable.
I worked in multiple layers: impasto base coats, textured with a steel sponge. A subtle gold layer that makes the painting appear differently depending on the light and time of day. Controlled flowing colours that generate the energy of the background.
This painting does not bring unrest – it centres. It is not a spectacle demanding attention, but a daily anchor point. A quiet reminder hanging in the room: You can hold your ground.
